A Suspected Arson Attack

Louis Tillett is alive, safe and as well as can be expected following a suspicious fire at his home address. Police are of course looking very seriously at this matter.

Most of his personal effects were wiped out, and much of his personal stock of CDs and Vinyls, and some of his precious Music memorabilia was lost. But most of his rare recordings, posters and Press releases from his 30 plus years of playing Music around the world, remain unscathed and salvaged from the ashes. This will be stored, along with the Master recordings already in the safe hands of the National Film and Sound Archives of Australia. And there will be a time when Louis, himself will be assisting them to catalog, curate and present this collection, as their priority to display his as a "Heritage Artist".

The Video below is TV News Footage showing some of what happened. What cannot be shown or shared is the genuine shock of such an event. In order to assist Louis in this period of recovery, there is a gofundme campaign which is open and ongoing, which WAS to assist him in his upcoming creative undertakings, but has been briefly converted into a short term relief fund.
