Curse of The Ancient Mariner

Thanks to my patrons, in the past few years I have become convinced of the power of motivated people to help me make a difference, and remain active creatively, through crowdfunding,and their personal support. We have been on a shared journey that has seen me return from a long absence, away from music and life in general. 

Since 2015, there have been new concerts, new line-ups, new websites, plus my whole back catalog being shared across multiple platforms. And people were generous then - when there was very little that I had to share with them - in terms of new musical works.

And now that people have been increasingly asking, what's next and what's new...I think it is appropriate to allow them to share this next part of the journey as I document my own creative process in writing and recording some new music, whilst undertaking a major life adventure - sailing around the world, starting with Australia, where I also hope to include some concerts and some collaborations, which will also be documented, and shared privately, in the main for my Patreon supporters.

I have closed the gofundme campaigns, as all the objectives were realised. And once the website became able to stand on it's own feet, I removed the donorbox. So this is now the only way that my patrons may assist me in keeping the show on the road..as far as new projects go.

So what next? It is time to write some more music. I am inspired to write a journal, and keep a video log of my travels and to take my piano with me...to share my creative process, as I write the next album. And although I have been somewhat of a private person, I invite you to come along and gain a raw insight into my own creative process, and my own personal journey.

Your regular patronage will allow me to not only keep the vessel provisioned and running, but also provide the very equipment required to film, record and broadcast this adventure, and to create the resulting musical works. And because we have a private channel between us here, I will always be open to your suggestions and your thoughts.
