Louis Tillett has been playing "solo", with an array of accompanists (such as Tom Hespe, John Maddox, Ken Gormley, Colin Watson, Jeffrey Wegner, and Michael Ward) at the very popular Sunday residency at the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown for more than six months.
On Sunday 6th August, he will be having a party, to celebrate the arrival of his latest album "SOLILOQUY".
This album is a response to the many requests over the years, for an album that sounds "live" and where Louis' voice and piano are allowed to feature. This - his first piano and vocal album - features songs from previous albums (including last year's The Hanged Man) and is the closest you could come to having Louis play for you in your own living room.
PRE-RELEASE copies of "SOLILOQUY" will be for sale ONLY at The Sandringham Hotel on SUNDAY 6th August for a special price of $20. Louis will, of course, make himself available to sign your copies.
Watch this site for online copies and a Louis blog section in weeks to come.
